As you know, there was a terrible storm in New Orleans.  Nearly 50,000 pets were left behind and it was a very sad story.

My mom has a pharmacy license and tried very hard to volunteer with FEMA as a pharmacist but they never answered her so she decided to find another way to help and heard about the animals.  Within 2 weeks, my mommy went to New Orleans to help rescue the pets.

Anyway, my mommy decided that she had room in her heart for a lonely pet but she is a very busy lady who travels a lot so she hoped for a pet with very low maintainence and she found me!

My breed is a Chinese Crested and there are other Chinese Cresteds just like me waiting for their forever home.  Maybe it's you!

Hope's Chinese Crested

I was at Hope's Chinese Crested because a bad place called them and told them that I had to go to sleep forever.  They came right over and got me and I was so lucky to stay with a wonderful, loving foster family who nursed my physical and emotial wounds. 

Then my mommy found me and we fell madly in love.

Mixed breeds are very wonderful too!  It doesn't matter what type of pet you'd like,  just PLEASE help one of the pets that are waiting and hoping.
